bumkins water proof covers

Hi, I am (unfortunately but hopefully not for long) using disposable diapers on DD and she is tiny - too small for the smallest swim diaper.  But it occurred to me that a waterproof cover might work in the pool - is this right?  Can she wear it in the pool over her disposable diaper?

    The cover over a disposable won't do anything. Water will still get in there and the sposie will still weigh a ton when you get out. You wouldn't want to use just the cover at all either if it's not lined with something b/c the PUL shouldn't be next to baby's skin directly. What about an XS pocket diaper without an insert?
