OldNavy.com maternity vent!!

I am SO irritated at OldNavy.com right now (and at myself!). I placed a big order a few months ago for maternity things, and a few of the items didn't fit well. You have to return by mail, which is really irritating.

Apparently the return policy is 45 days or that's it - no store credit option or anything after that date. I returned some of the items a little later than this, and I just heard that they're sending them back to me! I buy stuff from them online all the time and have never had a problem, usually when you return in stores they'll at least take them for the current sale price.

I realize this is completely my fault and I should have paid more attention to the policy, but it's SO irritating! Especially when it's already so inconvenient to return. Grrrrr...Super Angry

    i actually ordered some stuff a while back too and it didnt fit either...wayyyy too big! I guess ill just save them b/c i didnt even try to return anything b/c they always give such a hassle...not worth it! I feel your pain!

    They used to have a great return policy -- free shipping too. I can't believe it's only 45 days. Thanks for letting us know.

    I hate it when that happens!  I don't know why they changed their return policy to mail only (Gap is, too).  

    Can you sell it on Craigslist or something as NWT and try to get some of your money back?

    I know, I had some Gap things in the order as well. And I definitely think the 45 days is new, in general.

    I'm going to try to sell on Ebay, but Craigslist is a good idea too. Thanks!

    I contemplated ordering stuff on there but found that one of the stores I was close to sold maternity. Not much of it, mind you, but they did. I tried on a couple shirt and it seriously made me look like a blob...so I decided to try some bigger non-maternity clothes and they look 100% better! So, story is, I'm glad I didn't order online.

    UGH, i hate their maternity clothes policies. i have to order most stuff online because our maternity section sucks here, and the stupid mail-only return thing is BS, especially because it then means that you pay for shipping TWICE. suck it, ON.

    I ordered 6 shirts and I'm sending back two that I swear are 2X on the top even though they are labeled L. The having to return by mail only thing sucks. If they are going to make people return by mail only, then either have the original shipping be free or the return shipping free, but don't ding me $13 total on two shirts that were only $40 total.

    I am beyond fed up with ON and their crappy new return policies.  I've written them a couple times about how upset I am.  It's really too bad that we don't have many options when it comes to what to wear, otherwise I would never shop there again.

    Even though their return policy states by mail only - if there is an ON near you that actually sells maternity you can actually return the stuff there... I placed a good size order too and once i got it I wanted to return a few items and rather than dealing with the hassle I made the 45 minute drive to a neighboring ON that sells maternity and they took it all back.... I made the trip on a Sat and visited other shops in that shopping center, had lunch etc, in order to make it worth it...

    i placed a huge order and immediately called their 800# asking them if i could return maternity items to the store, she said YES you can.

    i got them, they all didnt fit. went to return them in store. MAIL ONLY.

     ugh!

    Ugghhh! Old Navy Maternity sucks! Their sizes do not match their regular clothing. They are way HUGE in the boobs. And now I have to mail back what I bought, and pay shipping for returning them. Booo to Old Navy.
