When did your LO go from 2 naps to 1?

I think DS is starting to try and do this. He has fought his afternoon nap the last 2 days and I'm thinking of trying tomorrow to skip the morning nap so that he's nice & tired for the afternoon nap. What do you ladies think? I feel like it's too soon for him to be dropping down to 1 nap a day already.

12 months, but we're still struggling. Basically, he still prefers a late morning nap, not an afternoon, but he is soooo tired by bed time. We're working on it.

12 months. Occasionally if he wakes up extra early he will take a short late afternoon nap and we do quiet time in his crib on fussy days.

11 months. We get out of the house every morning. That really helps DD not get bored and cranky! This way she can go down later in the afternoon. GL!

DS is 16 months and he still takes 2 naps a day. One about 2 hours after he wakes up and one in the late afternoon. He also sleeps for about 13 hours at night. I think he is making up for all the sleep he lost for the first 8 months of his life Wink

We are still on two. About a month ago I thought he was dropping one nap and I tried to force it. It was miserable. He started napping for only 30-45 minutes and was waking 10 times a night. After a week, I went back to 2 naps and we are now happily napping twice a day for 2 hours each and sleeping all night again.
