And the registry stalking begins...

I've been checking my registry regularly not to see if anything has been purchased, but to see when the mattress we need will be back in stock (we plan to buy it ourselves, adding it to the registry just makes it easier to keep track of).

My shower invites went out Monday, so during today's mattress status-check I did a quick scroll down through my registry just for s's and giggles. Someone already bought the bouncer we registered for! I feel like it's gonna be a struggle not to check the registry compulsively now.

    i got told by my mother to stop checking since about 4 of them were out shopping yesterday ... All i know is that I got the CRIB i wanted!! WOOHOO!!

    hahaha! my invites went out last week. ?I have to check, because I double registered for a few items at Target and BRU just to make more available depending on where people wanted to shop. ?I figure it won't have any activity til the week before the shower, though.

    I checked for my wedding last year, and it was still exciting when I opened gifts. I was too caught up in the shower/wedding festivities to remember what had been purchased off the registry.?

    I've been stalking mine non-stop but highly disappointed that Target and BRU don't show who bought what. When I call to ask BRU they are very rude! Sad

    I've been doing this too (we registered for our stroller in two places). I feel guilty doing it, but I can't help it!

    Indifferent  You called BRU to try to get them to tell you WHO purchased what off of your registry???  How would they even track that information?  And why would you want to know that??  I could see that being helpful if you received a gift without a card or something, but before your shower??

    My first shower is this Sunday and I am so guilty of registry stalking. I already know that we are getting our travel system, pack n play, bouncer, swing and highchair. I can't believe how many people have purchased the more expensive stuff. I am so excited for the shower this weekend and my second one that is next Sunday.

    I only did that when I needed to find out who gave a wedding gift with a missing card. ?You are hard core! ?Leave some surprises!?

    Guilty Embarrassed But my shower is Sunday and the only thing that has been bought is a pack of wash cloths--of course I know my friends and know that they won't buy anything til Friday and Saturday
