My DH is driving me crazy about food. Sometimes I would buy some berried because I really want them and by the time we get home and I eat a meal, I don't want to eat the berries anymore, do instead of being understanding DH keeps on annoying me regarding me not eating berries for days after we get them, but it's been the case that when I get them I really want them and then the craving goes away even before I ate one. UGH!!
Am I the only one like this?
So last night DH got on my case that I did not eat some berries that we got over the weekend, but I did drink them in the smoothie that I made!
Re: Why is it so hard to understand?
haha.. same thing happens with me!
i made dinner last night and a salad, by the time i finished cooking i didnt want the salad anymore.
When i go shopping i usually buy things that i crave at the time, but end up throwing out so much moldy stuff that has never been touched b/c i just didnt feel like having it anymore.
you are not alone
I really wanted a ham and cheese omlet but knew I didn't have ham, cheese, or eggs. So I went to the grocery store and got the ingredients, I have yet to eat that stinkin omlet.
He is a little irate with me. However when he doesn't know what he wants for supper, I get my vengeance!
My DH used to do that. I will buy fruit and I just don?t get around to eating it so it sometimes ends up going bad and he got kind of pissy. Then about a month ago we went grocery shopping together and he said ? I should eat healthier, maybe I?ll get some fruit?. He?s not a fruit eater so when he threw clementines, grapes, watermelon and two packages of raspberries into the cart I tried to tell him to maybe pick two kinds to start out. Also, raspberries are expensive and don?t last all that long so I suggested one package for now, and I would come back next week for more if he finished them.
We ended up throwing out everything but the watermelon and some clementines because it all went bad. He doesn?t bug me anymore.
OMG exactly this!!! ?I had been absolutely dying for an omelette and made a special trip to the store for the ingredients. ?Got home, made the omelette and ate 1 bite. ?It was totally revolting to me at that point so I threw it out. ?DH was so pissed.?

Easy solution - freeze the berries or buy frozen berries. They're perfect for smoothies, or you can microwave them and add a little sugar and plop them on some vanilla ice cream.
I have yet to eat more than 2 cupcakes of the 36 that I made a week and a half ago.
Or mine : )
