I have not tried sonic but it sounds yummy. I tracked down the closest one, its a 50 minute drive (across the boarder of course)! We just may do it one day!

Far from you! I am in Windsor, Ontario. 4 hrs from Toronto. We are a boarder city with Detroit Michigan so its an easy trip over. I haven't made it out West yet, its on "the list"! We have friends getting married in BC next summer but I doubt we will attempt the trip with LO

I used to live in Cambridge Ontario for about 10 years, I just moved to Alberta about two years ago. I have been to Windsor a few times. My SIL went to university there.
Thanks Momma S! I totally LOVE slushies too so I would be in trouble if we had one!
Deirdre-what a small world! Windsor's our home, although its going thru a crap time right now! DH & I went ot University here as well.
I know Ontario seems to be in really hard shape with the economy. I would guess Windsor is taking an extra hit because of the auto industry. It is sad, hopefully things will rebound quickly.
yay its been hit pretty hard, a lot of people are out of work, its sad to see. Our city is also on strike for 7 weeks now, so garbage is piling up, parks are overgrown, its sad to see the city falling apart.
Luckily DH & I are both nurses & while we have felt some of the effects of everything our jobs are secure, thank God.

Wow I did not know that...7 weeks of garbage. The parks were so nice in Windsor...that is sad. But at least your Dh and you have secure jobs.
Re: I wish there was a Sonic in Canada
