Hurts to pee - update and an FYI

A few pages back someone posted that it hurt to pee. Lots of urgency to go, then this pathetic tinkle with the feeling of not being done. I replied that I felt the same.
I was feeling that yesterday, so I scheduled an appointment to get my urine checked for a UTI this afternoon. This morning I felt great - symptoms seem to have gone so I thought LO was pressing on my bladder. I went to my appointment anyway and sure enough, my urine tested positive. My doctor prescribed antibiotics.
I dropped off my prescription and stopped at the deli on the way home. This took maybe an hour or so. When I got home, the urge to go was unbearable. And there is visible blood in my urine - every time I wipe and in the toilet. My vagina feels like it's on fire. I called the doc and this is normal.
Long story short - if you have those sensations, call your doc right away to be safe and don't assume it's your LO. My UTI went from questionable to agonziing in a matter of hours!

I had the exact same thing happen to me today. When I got up there was no blood but my 9am there was clearly blood in my urine. I had been feeling not right for the last couple of days and just thought it was pregnancy pains, aches, etc. So now I am no some nice antibiotics and some sort of pill for the pain.
