I think we want to vaccinate with Dr. Sears alternate schedule. We've met with several pediatricians, but none seem too keen on the idea. I really like some of the ones we've met with, but just don't know if they will cooperate. I've looked on Sears website and there are only two doctors in my state that are listed on it. Anyone else having this problem?
Re: Finding a pediatrician who will vaccinate on a alternate schedule?
The one we pick recommends following the AMA or whoever's guidelines, and they didn't seem keen on doing Dr. Sear's, but they will if that's what we ask. They don't have a policy that says we can't modify the schedule.
We haven't made the decision yet personally, but I like the Dr.'s there enough to know I might have to answer a lot of questions about that decision and I'm fine with that.
My state wasn't even listed with Dr Sears. I'm going to ask a few different peds before I decide.
