Maternity jeans-a Pea in the Pod

So I am IN LOVE with my it! brand jeans from a Pea in the Pod.  I ordered a pair of the Buffalo maternity jeans online because I saw them in Mrs. Forest's pics and they looked super cute and comfy.  I ordered a small because I am normally a size 27 or 28 pre-pg.  However, when I got them they were too small-I was so sad, I could barely get them on.  My mom suggested that they maybe just needed to be stretched out so I literally broke a sweat trying to stretch them-it didn't work Tongue Tied.  So I was so happy when I took them back to find the it! jeans because they were the same price and really cute.  I actually like them better.  Just wanted to pass that along to anyone who may be looking for a stylish pair of maternity jeans.  Oh, and by the way, the sales girl made me feel better about not fitting into the smalls because she said that sometimes people run in between sizes so basically I could be a small/medium.  She said that they don't make enough sizes, really.  At least it made me feel like a little less of a cow!

    Ditto. I LOVE my Pea in the Pod mat. jeans. Lots of people have commented that they can't believe I"m still wearing "normal" jeans. I correct them of course. But they're so darn cute that people can't believe they're maternity jeans. Also, I have a heck of a time finding pants that are long enough for me. These are perfect. Well worth the $100.

    You should XP this on 2nd Tri, they'd definitely benefit from the tip. :)

    If it makes you feel any better...the Citizen and Seven designer maternity jeans I have, I also have to wear 1-2 sizes larger that my pre-preg sizes! So you are not alone...i think the maternity line just runs small. :-)

    hmmm maybe i will get these the next time around. i can't fit into any of my pants from motherhood! i got mediums for work pants b/c of the length, but they are so baggy. some how i fit into their small jeans, but they look so weird and always fall off! next time DH will be a lawyer, so we can splurge for nicer maternity pants :)

     That does make me feel better!  I tried on the Sevens and Citizens in the store and I had to wear a 29 in the Sevens and a 30 in the Citizens!  That's like 3 sizes larger than I normally wear!  I keep telling myself it has nothing to do with all the Mexican food I've been eating Tongue Tied
