Daycare in/near St. Louis Park

Good Morning!  We are first time parents-to-be both working full time.  I'm looking for childcare recommendations in/near St. Louis Park, MN.  Also looking for general suggestions on home facilities vs. centers.

Any and all suggestions are very appreciated!!  THANKS so much!

    I too am looking for in home daycare options in/around SLP.  I haven't had much luck.  I have been looking on craigslist to see what might be posted.  I'm a bit uneasy about finding care for our baby on craiglist, but I think with proper references and visits to the home will hopefully tell us alot about it.  I've seen a few posted there for Hopkins and a few for SLP, but none had openings when we needed them.  Might be worth a check.

    DS is at Golden Valley Lutheran Church Early Learning Center (Loving Shepherd).  We really like it...a lot.  I believe they have openings right now.  They are located right off of 100 and Xenia.  Not St Louis Park, but close.

    I'm just lurking here (no kids yet), but I know some friends of ours use Westwood Lutheran Church and really like it there. I also know (through a friend of my FI) a woman that works there.

    It is on Cedar Lake Rd - close to Hwy 169.

    I don't know any details or if you have to be a member, but I have only heard good things about it and thought I'd pass it along.

    We go to a center- Kids Place in SLP and really like it.  I have heard great things about Westwood Lutheran Church also but when we tried getting in there was a huge waiting list and they never followed up with us to let us know the status even though I called several times.
