I told a few cradle cap mamas on here I would let them know how it works. I'm SO dissapointed. It had so many good reviews on BRU.com. I had to pay a crapload to get it shipped since my store doesn't carry it.
I had high hopes for it but I hate to say that I think it's even worse with this shampoo than just my regular aveeno baby I was using....::sigh:: I guess he will just have to grow out of it. This was my last resort!
Re: My review on the Mustela cradle cap shampoo.
I really appreciate it but yes I have tried it and it didn't do anything but leave his hair greasy for days just like everything else.
I'm glad I didn't buy this then!
My son's very bad cradle cap went away last week on it's own. I tried the oil with comb, Head & Shoulders, and the J&J cradle cap shampoo (with Pooh Bear on it) and nothing worked for very long. Then magically last week it went away. No explanation and the last time I tried to treat it was over 2 weeks before it went away. So hang in there, hopefully it'll be over soon for you.
DS has cradle cap too and we tried the Gentle Naturals. I feel like it looks worse after using it. I'm waiting for DS to outgrow it. But it is barely noticeable now that his hair has gotten longer. I only have to pick out the flakes from his hair on occassion.
Been there and used it lol. I've used everything out there ladies lol. Like others have mentioned I'm just going to go back to using my aveeno baby on his hair and body and let him outgrow it!
Head&Shoulders was the only thing that worked for the cradle cap (and we also tried just about everything). After using H&S, it became much more managable. Still there, but barely noticable (whereas before you could see it a mile away and the oil on her scalp oozed all over everything).
The only problem we have with the H&S is that it's full of chemicals and it makes her eczema worse, so now we only use it when the cradle cap gets bad enough. Otherwise we're just waiting it out.
