When does being hot all the time stop?

Is it instantly after you deliver, or does it take days/weeks to get back to your normal thermostat?

I'm a person who is always cold, but this last trimester is making me so hot-blooded it's ridiculous. ??

Personally, it's gotten worse since delivery for me. Actually, I'm not too bad during the day, but I wake up absolutely drenched at night. Literally dripping sweat. I don't know if that's the norm, though.

It was probably a good month or so after delivery that I really started to cool down. I also BF'ed, so I don't know if that helped "fuel" things or not.

its been worse for me after delivery for some reason. I live in the 'south' where it is 90 most days of the year....I'm so used to the heat, that I don't blink usually at 105, now 110 that is a different story. But since delivering, 90 really bothers me....

I hope you get rid of that and not have it like me.

a few weeks after delivering - your hormones will be out of wack for a while- causing horrible hot flashes - esp when sleeping- after you deliver.

Ditto this 100%! I think the night sweats went away sometime after the first month PP. Thank goodness! I felt so gross.
