Missouri Babies

Hello and question!

Hello everyone!

I am a nestie/knottie and new mom from the South FL area about to move to either Kansas City or St George because of the hubs' job :)

Our decision will be based on where I will give birth, so I need suggestions on good OB's in both... and I knew this was a good place to start!

Please feel free to email me at nani 8 nani at yahoo dot com

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Re: Hello and question!

  • Do you know what part of the KC area you'd be moving to for your husband's job? That would help to know so we can give you more specific recs.

Several other nesties & I go to KC Women's Clinic. There are 2 locations in Overland Park, KS. My doc is Dr. Nguyen and she was fabulous for my prenatal care & delivery as well as standard GYN stuff. Website is https://www.kansascitywomensclinic.com/

Congrats on your pregnancy & good luck on the move!

I have used Northland OBGYN (Cargill specifically) for years for my GYN and used them/her for my OB as well. Wonderful! They only deliver at Liberty Hospital. We had a great experience there too!
  • Thanks so much!!!

My husband will actually be somewhere in Dekalb county, but we will move closer to where we find a good OB.

he works in wind energy so his jobsite is always in the middle of nowhere and we live 30 min to an hour away...

I am going to start checking them all... thanks again!!!

  • Hey I just read this and we live really close to Dekalb county.  Anyway I wend to Heartland Womens Health and delivered at North Kansas City Hospital and had a wonderful experience there.  Since Dekalb county is really close to St. Joseph I would just recommend that you stay away from the hospital there.  Good luck!

I have also heard some not so good things about Hearland in St. Joe.  I would suggest Dr. Bordson at Midwest Women's Clinic and deliver at North Kansas City.  I have heard St. Lukes on Barry Road is good- but don't have a specific doctor.
