Evelyn re: peanut butter

I asked my pedi about peanut butter and she said it was fine just be careful b/c of the consistency.  It can be strange at first and they can have a hard time swallowing.  She recommended spreading it thinly on crackers at first.  She did say that it wouldn't be an allergy issue anymore b/c at this point she has been exposed to peanuts.

    wow! thanks for asking your pedi this - i assume the "nut" thing would be like meljh said a choking hazard but peanut butter thinly spread would be fine. yesterday i gave her a few crackers with cream cheese so ill chg it up with the peanut butter.

    oh and im gonna go out and get: nutrigrain bars, pretzels (if they have the salt-less type), and some bread today for toast and jelly!...i think she will love me for this lol

    Alexis loves loves loves cinnamon toast.  It's by Peppridge(sp?) farm and it's the cinnamon swirl.  I warn you though it's addictive!!
