First - everything is fine !
The nurse practioner at my OB was very reassuring and said her plan was to try to find hb with doppler, but warned me that it may or may not work because: 1) i am a little thick in the middle 2) retroverted ute. She promised that either way she was sending me for a u/s and asked me not to freak if she didn't find it.
After much searching she finally found it and my anxiety was definitely high by that point. The baby's hb was a strong 166 bpm!
She also checked my cervix which was closed and showed no active bleeding.
Her conclusion: spotting could be from endometrin supps irritating the cervix or ruptured blood vessels from the force of the vomiting. Joy!
I have a u/s tomorrow @ 1:15 just for peace of mind.
I hate all this spotting business!

My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Ditto this! I had some serious spotting early in the pg (like 6 weeks or so?) and it scared me to death. I spent the whole night on the couch worrying and waiting for it to stop.
*hugs*
