Breast Lump - who to see?

I had a baby 3 months ago and I was cleared on my 6 week appt by my OBGYN. Last night, I felt a big lump in my breast. Who do I see - my family doctor or OBGYN?

I'd probably go back to the OB/GYN.... you can probably get an appointment there faster?  Plus, they're probably more familiar with post-pg boobies.  Are you nursing?

I went to my obgyn.  They ordered an ultrasound and everything was fine.  Changes in hormone levels can cause lumps.  G/L.  I know how scary it can be.

Thanks, ladies! I'll call my OB tomorrow. It is worrisome. =(

I'm not nursing...I only pumped for the first month.

Same thing here...my ob said i just have some 'thickness'.  I'm going for a baseline mammogram later this week.

If you need a specialist, I loved Dr. Petrucci at Foxhall Surgical Associates in NW DC.  He's really great - about 3 years ago I found a cyst in my left breast that was about the size of a pencil eraser.  It turned out to be nothing to worry about, but it was scary.
