18 week Scan June 9th!

Hi guys

 

I have an upcoming scan June 9th i will be 18weeks and 5 days So i am guessing its my big ultrasound. I thought they do the anatomy scan at 20 weeks so why is mine earlier? Or if anyone else had one done at 18 weeks it will make me feel better than stressing out! thanks!!

 

Ps we are going to find out the sex please you guys i know i just want a healthy baby but me and my husband want a little girl secretly! so kepp all those pregnant fingers crossed for me!!

    My anatomy u/s is June 10!  I'll be 18wk, 3d.  I thought this one would be a touch later too but this is when it was scheduled.  For DS the anatomy scan was at 19wk, 1d.

    I had mine at 18 wks this time because that is how my 4 wk appt fell, they we're able to measure everything and tell us we 're having a girl. I think they schedule anytime between 18-22 wks. GL but boys rock too, I'm feeling a little sad we're not having another boy but I am also super excited about a little girl.

    It seems like people have them between 18 - 20 weeks, I could have had one at 18 weeks but my MW wanted me to wait till 20 weeks (she never told me why)

    i feel better knowing that! i wouldnt mind a boy just my husband grew up with 2 other brothers no sisters and my mil who was pregnant after my husband had twins one boy one girl died after birth. So he wants a girl

    They start them at 18 weeks, normally. ?Mine was at 18 weeks, 6 days.

    It's done anywhere in 18-20 weeks. I've got mine on Friday June 5th, and I'll be 18w1d.

    I was also 18 weeks when they determined it was a girl, it was done at the specialist's office (where they test for down syndrome etc).  My doctor, however, has not done an ultrasound to confirm.  The next time she'll do one is 32 weeks, hoping the 18 weeks wasn't too soon.  GL!

    At least you don't have to wait until almost 24 weeks! Mine is FINALLY scheduled for June 16... Can't wait!

    You can have them anywhere between 16-20 weeks...mine is this thursday and I will be 17 1/2 weeks

    Some people are able to find out the sex earlier and some doctors make you wait until 20 weeks. My big u/s is June 9th as well and I will be 19 weeks 6 days so basically 20 weeks.  Good luck I hope baby cooperates with you. I am so worried ours won't.

    Mine is June 11th and I will be 19 weeks and I day. I am VERY nervous because the Doctor will be looking for cleft palate, leg/arm abnormalities and any heart defects due to the meds I must take.

     

    Please, dear Lord, let me LO be alright....Sad

    Everyone scheduled for the us i will def keep you guys in my prayers! and me too i hope every thing turns out fine with buddy in my tummy!!
