3rd Trimester

Anyone else see Up?

DH and I went to see it Saturday night and it was really good. I cried 2 or 3 times. I don't think I have really cried in the theater, ever.

Very funny, but there were some parts that I was crying like a baby and not just b/c I am pg.

Re: Anyone else see Up?

  • I saw it yesterday with DH and my 4-year old niece.  I also cried a few times.  I don't think it's possible to make a movie about an old man without making it sad/bittersweet, but I was not expecting to cry!

I know, DH even started to well-up.

  • I really want to see it!  I heard it was really good.  I have some friends that saw it (who are totally non criers) and they said they loooved it and cried like a small child.

oy, I guess I'll bring my kleenex when I watch it.

It is really good. My dad asked if his dog died and that was the reason I cried, which would make sense. Nope! He didn't have a dog.

  • Not seen it yet, but I really want to. I usually bawl at soppy movies anyway, so I'm sure this one won't be any different lol.
  • I REALLY want to see it...DH and I are celebrating our 5 yr wedding anniversary on Friday but keeping it low key and will be doing "real" night out in August when I feel more like myself...

BUT - he said I could plan our date night for Friday and he'll go along with whatever I plan...so Up is officially on the calendar for date night!
