I'm stuck on the couch thanks to a bout of pneumonia, and DD has hijacked the TV, so thought I'd offer my services to you ladies.

Happy to answer any and all baby/registry/delivery questions! (I had a normal delivery, BF and FF, and now have a toddler and one more on the way.)
Re: Bedridden mom, happy to answer your Q's...
Since you asked, I have a question! I am going to BF. I know it'll be every 2 hours or so. During the night, how often did you change your baby's diaper? My sister did it after every feeding but thinks she didn't have to. I plan to have him right near me in the room but wondering how often I've have to actually get up to do the changing. I'm trying to ask some moms who've done it. I hope you feel better soon!
I'm trying to remember (those early days are still fuzzy!!)... I think I went by the every 3-4 hour rule, unless poop, then as needed. So, generally, that probably ended up being at every feed. You'll get a feel for how often you need to after you do it a while. I think I did every 3-4 so that I could make sure she was eating enough (having enough wet and dirty diapers). Oh, and FWIW, I always changed before the feeding, since she'd often fall back to sleep while nursing, then I could just put her right back down.
