Trying to Get Pregnant

NGPR: CHarlotte Area Girls, want a free kitten?

A kitten showed up on our door step Friday night.  I called around Sat to the rescue places and either haven't gotten calls back or they have no room.  I don't know his/her health but he/she is VERY friendly.  You can pick it up and it follows you.  Anyway, DH and I can't keep it, we have to dogs that wouldn't do well with a kitten around the house.  I can't bear to send it away to our local shelter as they told me since they don't have room it will most likely be euthenized (sp?).  So, Please help  me find a good home for this sweet little kitty.

Thanks!

  • I hope you find a good home for her. Please don't take her to a shelter if she is just going to get euthanized. Try posting on your local board and the nest pet board to. You could make some flyers too.

I know that our vet's office will take in strays sometimes and have them up for adoption. ?You could always take it to the vet to get checked and see what they say.

I will call our vet tomorrow and see what they say.  I will also try the local board and the pet board.  I don't want to send it to a kill shelter!

I have lots of friends in Charlotte since we used to live there.  I'll post a message on FB and see if anyone replies.  GL!

That would be great!  The kitten is really sweet and cute.

We are just outside of Rock Hill, in York.

I looked at putting an ad on CraigsList but there was a warning about "free to a good home" ads.  They said that people take the free pets and sell them to laboratories and someone was convicted of killing and torturing animals they had found advertised as free to a good home.  So I am hesitant to put it there.

  • aww! someone take the kiiiittty!
