Had to put a book away
And started bawling. The book was for my DD from her Grampa about being a big sister. I was ok putting the little Christmas onsie away but feel like I failed my daughter by telling her she was going to be a big sister and now she's not.

just because she wont be a big sister right now doesn't mean she wont be in the future. i am sure your baby girl is so thankful to have you for a mom, you have not failed her.
i say hold on to that book, and i hope one day you will give it to her. best of luck to you.
