Should I have had IUI today? (long-sorry!)

I am so frustrated with RE's office.  While I really like him-his staff drives me crazy. I was told I could call in last cycle to resume tx's after ectopic.  I called and they said no I had to wait another cycle.  So I called in 13 days ago saying I am ready.  The nurse asked if I was doing TI or IUI and I said IUI.  She called me later in the day with results and said to call in again when I get LH surge

Fast forward to today-I get my LH surge and call in.  I ask if I needed to bring DH and she said no- 9/10 chances when you get a positive OPK you arent really surging yet.  So I go in for my bloodwork and US she said she would call me wth results.

So I get a call this afternoon-and I am definatly surging and she tells me to have TI tonight tomorrow and Tues.  What about the IUI??  SHe said ohh I have you are doing TI.  Ultimatly, she got DH an appt for 7am and me at 9.

 My question-will it still be effective tomorrow?  I am so upset with RE's office-would you consider switching?

    Do they do an ultrasound to see if you have any follies and if they are ready to go? Can they do one for you?

    I had an us today-my left has 4 ranging from 12-21 None on the right

    geez, that is really frustrating.  i don't know a lot about IUI's and TI's, but is there anyone else that you can talk to?  maybe ask the dr to call you back?  i would think if you are surging then today is the day to have it done.  when do you usually O after you get your surge?

    If you got a - OPK yesterday and a + today, you should have IUI tomorrow, according to my RE.

    Most RE offices will have IUI the day after a + OPK. Good luck!!!

    I would think then if you have some mature follies that you are ready to go tomorrow. Good luck!
