You know, the one we can all recite word-for-word. "Take it easy, put your feet up, drink lots of water." The spotting has tapered off thank GOD **knock on wood** I'm supposed to call my doctor first thing tomorrow morning to see if she wants to see me sooner than Thursday, but the on-call doctor said that bleeding that is not leaking onto a pad/pantyliner is not really cause for concern especially if it tapers off quickly. I felt kind of dumb being given "the speech", but I'd rather feel dumb than sit here and worry. Hoping to talk to my dr more at length tomorrow.

Re: on-call doc gave me "the speech"
So glad it's tapering off...that is so scary. The doc doesn't seem too concerned, so I would feel better about that!
OK, doctor's orders: feet up, lots of water, and relax!! :-)
I hate that speech. Thank goodness it's slowing down and you already have an apt this week.
Glad its tapering off. ?Isnt it so easy for them to say if its not leaking into a pad its not cause for concern...yeah well to someone who's had a loss it IS cause for concern. ?That's why I love my doc so much, she had 6 m/c so she understands the stress and anxiety of all this stuff.
I'm glad things are better than last night. ?Take care of yourself today and keep us posted on what your normal doc says.?
I'm glad it tapered off! I had some red spotting (none on a pad, just tp - but quite a bit on it!!) at 14.5 weeks. Turns out I had a uti and a yeast infection I didn't even know about. I took the meds, the spotting stopped wihin a few days, and all was fine.
So I totally missed this post, but am sooooo glad to hear that it is tapering off, and the doc didn't think it was anything to be concerned about! I too would rather get the speech, than sit and worry about it!! So listen to the doc, rest, rest, rest!!
Congrats on the 15 week mark! So happy for you Cora!
