Sorry if this question gets asked wayyy to much, but just wondering when you started incorporating tummy time into your routines? What's too young, if there is such a thing? TIA.
I think we started at about 2 weeks? If she fused too much we'd stop, but as?long?as she was happy we'd keep her there. Sometimes we'd use the tummy time mat, or just a blanket, or even on our bed. She rolled over at 5 weeks! ?
I've seen this question asked a lot here and it seems most answers I've read said after the umbilical cord falls off. My pedi told us we didn't have to wait for it to fall off. We started around 1 week, putting DS on our chests. You'll be able to read your baby to figure out when is the right time.

DD was super strong from birth and was trying to lift her head before we even left the hospital! We got serious about it around 2 weeks as well and only did it on our chests and not the floor until around one month.

I started laying with her on my chest in the hospital Not so much because it was "tummy time" but because she liked to snuggle. We kept doing that for the first few weeks and she got really strong lifting her head. Then around 3 or 4 weeks we starting making an effort to do more tummy time routines on the boppy or on the floor. But most of her tummy time is still on me.
they told us at the hospital that at first it counted when the were on our tummy, but that we could start regular tummy time, as pp said, once the cord fell off.
