What do you think?
I really wanted to do a Sweet Shoppe Theme for Ella's first birthday. But, my Grandpa has a colostmy bag and has been having problems with it lately. My Grandma said that they would be unable to travel far from their house for her birthday party.
So, I was thinking I would change from having it at my house to the park in their neighborhood. But, I am pretty sure that glass jars full of candy would just make a melty mess. Besides having to transport it all from Lake Stevens to Bothell.
I was thinking that maybe I would do a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme instead. What do you think? And any ideas or suggestions to go with it?
Re: Hmmm, Birthday Question...
I agree, Hungry Caterpillar is adorable...good theme for an outdoor party. I honestly have no idea what a 1 year old's b-day party is like so I'm not much help with ideas, but I did a google search "hungry caterpillar birthday" and a TON of stuff came up.
Including this activity book! https://www.madeleinelindley.com/UserFiles/Documents/VHC_ACTIVITYPACK_INSIDES.pdf
You could always stick candy in the vases that won't melt (gummy worms, skittles, starburst, etc)
I think the hungry caterpillar is a great idea as well! I once saw a cupcake display on the internet that had the green body made of individual green iced cupcakes, then the head was a small red cake. It was soooo cute! I can't remember the website, but I'm sure you can google it!
