saw an honest to goodness teenage mother today

We went to a free outdoor concert and across our path comes a gaggle of four girls and a mother. The girls were obviously all in high school and one carried a baby -- probably about 7-9 months old -- in her arms.

They sat near us and the teenager, maybe 15? 16? was this baby's mother.

I felt morbidly curious about the girl.

    My mother had two under two at 16!! .. they had the same due date.. crazy huh..

    i was in line at Chipotle the other day and saw 2 girls, who couldn't have been older than my 17 year old sister and they both looked about 7months pregnant.  like you, i was curious....

    Right after my m/c last year, I had a patient who was 17 and pregnant with twins. I wasn't in a good place after taking care of her....

    When ds was 2 or 3 weeks old I was at the store waiting for my mom to pull the car up (it was raining), a lady came over and was asking me loads of questions because she thought I looked 16. I'm 23 and married, thank you.

    I went to Target today and I was using the bathroom and when I came out I saw a girl who looked like she was maybe 17 and she had twins.  I couldn't help it, but my mouth dropped open.  I am 28 and can't imagine the stress of having twins.  At her age, one would be way crazy.
