3rd Trimester

ouch... can you explain this pain?

I dont know if its dr call worthy...  so before I call I'll ask you ladies..

My belly hurts.. it's been hurting all day. And by hurt I mean.. it hurts when I or someone elses just touches it.. It kills me when I pee or poo... to cough and sneeze almost puts me in tears.. but it really bothers me that it hurts to touch it.. and by touch I mean even if you put your hand on it to feel where DS is.

Has anyone else had this feeling? or know what or why Im feeling this? and should I call the dr?

Can you feel movement? Eh... even so, that would make me nervous. I'd call.

DS never really moves.. and when I told my dr that he tells me "its just his new base line.. the  fact that your NST are ok trumps you telling me he doesnt move" so now I feel real dumb when I tell him he doesnt move.

  • I would call. I haven't heard anyone describe what you're feeling, and at 39 weeks it would make me nervous if he wasn't moving. Have you felt him in the last 24 hours?
Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.
  • maybe your appendix??

and a_chance... just an FYI id remove "the r-word" from your statement... thats gonna start a war....

  • like I said pp-- dr tell me him not moving is fine my nst trump that.. and i am sorry for using the word "retarded" I didnt even noticed i used it.. i dont want to offend anyone.. but he makes me feel real DUMB <better word to use when I tell him this
  • I would call your doctor.  Sounds like you're in a great deal of pain, and it hurts all the time (not just when you do a certain activity), and it sounds very sensitive.  GL!

  • For one thing, you should NEVER feel dumb for asking questions about your baby! OMG... it bothers me when a doctor doesn't make their patient feel comfortable with asking questions. You are carrying a life in you.

Second thing... Call your doctor. Anything that doesn't "feel right", you should call. Trust your instincts. YOU are this baby's mommy and even though he isn't outside your body, you are still his mommy! Smile

So go for it, call your doctor and PLEASE let us know what the results are!
I will be concerned and anxious to know.

GL and BIG HUGS for you!

  • YES!  I would be concerned as well, and let us know how things go!  Good Luck!
