Those of you who had bad heartburn?

Did you kids come out with a ton of hair? Everyone keeps telling me that if you have bad heartburn that you're kid will have lots of hair. Just curious how many of you actually had it happen?

Actually, yes she did. Haha. I know it's an old-wives tale, but I had some miserable heartburn and she had a ton of hair when she was born.

He definitely has hair! Not a "ton" but he has it (lots more in the back of his head than front).

it was true for me!

but stupid cradle cap took all her hair away, it's just now starting to grow back and muuuch lighter than it was at birth. crazy! g/l with your pregnancy!

Nope .... I had Really Really bad heartburn, took prescription for it.... and DD came out with almost no hair.

I had wicked heart burn...she had hair....a mullet to be exact...not enough to put a bow in it but I can give her a ponytail!!

I forgot what university did a study on this trying to disprove the "old wive's tale" about heartburn and full heads of hair, but they ended up proving it right. The study found that in 80% of the women that reported hearburn, their babies were born with full heads of hair.

Full head of LONG hair - past his ears when he was born. It was true for my mom too - wicked heart burn and I had tons of hair.

I had NO heartburn and she has TONS of hair. My husband is also Mexican, so that's where hers came from.

LOL! Same here...Funny thing is we had nicknamed the baby little mullet baby before he/she was born. When she came out she DID have a little mullet & I had awful heartburn!

I had moderate heartburn (not often but when I got it it was bad) and she has a good amount of hair but not tons. ?And ditto Pumpkin's comment about Angieandtony - poor thing must have had awful heartburn. ;-)

Yes. He had so much hair that the first vaccuum attempt didn't work because the vaccuum couldn't suction to his head.

I had terrible heartburn with both of my girls.... and both were baldies! Although Olivia has WAY more hair than Isabella did, you can see from the picture below it still isn't much.
