Thank you! I never thought to try recieving blankets! I guess I could try that. Now where can I find info on folding flats? I guess I could start with googling it? Hehe.

Generally, you fold the diaper into a square or a trapezoid, putting extra layers where you need them, and then put it on kind of like an angel wing fold for a prefold to create a leg gusset, pin or snappi it on good and tight, and then tuck it up around the legs to get it good and snug.
I like the kite fold with my 21x40 flats (you fold in half to get a square first, and then go from there). I'm still experimenting with my bigger square flats. I may end up using the Jo fold. They're not even fully prepped yet, though, so I'm just getting started.
