DH really wants to tote around our little guy when he gets here, and I have heard mixed things about the Baby Bjorn carriers. I would appreciate you reccomendations and why you like or do not like the one you have. TIA.
I am a wrap fan but if you want something like the Baby Bjorn, you might like a soft structured carrier (like the Ergo or Beco) or a mei tai (like the baby hawk). Check out the link in my siggy for more info and links to reviews.
The Bjorn will not be as comfortable for you as other carriers. It also holds baby by the crotch instead of the bum so not as comfy for baby either.
ETA: All of the above carriers can be used for both front and back carries.

Ditto all of this. I would start with a Moby. The soft structured carriers are convenient for when you go out. I love the Ergo.
I have a Baby Bjorn and I'm not crazy about it. DD will only tolerate it for about 5 minutes and then she starts to get squirmy and cries. She doesn't like being constricted, so perhaps she would object to any wrap? I've heard great things about the Moby. I might break down and buy one myself.

I have tried probably every single baby carrier on the market...and returned all but one! lol We LOVE the belle baby carrier...the weight of the baby sits on your hips not your shoulders, baby can face in or out, it is super easy to adjust so that one size fits all, and it is made of super light material so you can toss it in your diaper bag! Good luck!
