This may sound silly, but does 3D/4D ultrasound cause any harm to the baby?

    Nope. They just flip a switch from 2D to 3D. Some people think that you shouldn't have more u/s than medically necessary and don't agree with getting 3D u/s for entertainment purposes. But a lot more drs have the updated machines in their offices and women get them without going someplace else.

    No, its just an ultrasound that has 4D capabilities.

    Mine switched from 2D to 3D during our 28wk ultrasound.

    The only thing harmed is you wallet if you have ot pay out of pocket doens't hurt you or the baby.
