Need Baby Shower Ideas

My best friend and I have been friends since the 9th grade. We got married around the same time and now she is pregnant! I want to throw her the most unforgettable shower... I need the best suggestions I can get. Ideas, themes, what have you seen done or did that you loved!

    Scroll through this board and you will find some great ideas and links to shower info. I would just say find a theme you are comfortable with that fits your friend -- maybe an interest, nursery theme, or just a simple color scheme she would like.?

    I am sure your friend will love it no matter what. It is very nice of you to throw her a shower!

    Its hard to pick a theme out of thin air that has nothing to do with your friend or her baby. Its better to pick a theme that goes with the sex of her child if she is finding out, the nursery theme, or something that fits her personality. You can even ask her what she invisions for her shower to get ideas.

    i guess neither of my showers really had a theme-one was a brunch so that was really nice.  

    my sister did a fun game at my friends shower where she had everyone send a baby photo and then she scanned them in-we then played guess the baby-it was great.  my parents both put their pics on and it was just fun.

    just make it personal to you and your friendship.

     i think that the pamper cake centerpiece is so cute. this centerpiece works well with a girl or a boy shower.   plus this is a centerpeice that can be used after the shower.
