I need direction ladies. I found this too small 100% lambswool sweater in my closet. I think it's felted because I'm pretty sure it got thrown in the wash by accident, hence the reason it is too small for me now. Anyway, I want to make a cover out of it but I need direction. I am a novice seamstress but have my mother here who can sew pretty well. Can you ladies give me some links to patterns and assure me I'm not going to screw this up! I'm skeerd! I've always wanted purty woolies and now's my chance.
Here's what it looks like.

Re: Have a wool sweater...now what?
You could try this, and this...both from the same sweater.
I really just googled for some help - let me check and see if I saved a site...

Here's a pattern I've used for a flannel soaker - I should have used the medium/long, and only used the medium, but it still works pretty well. The medium long information is on the page that that address takes you too. Here is a link to the rest of the soaker patterns. It's very easy!
