spotting in 2nd tri?

Does or did anyone experience spotting when trying to go (ahem) #2 during 2nd tri?  Tonight was the 2nd time it happened to me in the past week or so, and it was just a little reddish-tinged spotting in my CM when I wiped.  DH thinks I should call the on-call dr but I wanted to see if anyone here has experienced this first.

    No, but I say that knowing everyone's body can do funky things. Is it just a teensy bit? If it keeps up I would call the dr. If it's miniscule and you're not in any pain, you could always call the on-call doctor tomorrow to ask. Do whatever's going to put your mind at ease.

    I would definitely call, just to be on the safe side. Maybe you are pushing too hard?

    I am obviously not in 2nd tri, but I do know that when you are PG you can get hemmroids (sp?) and they will make you bleed a little.  You might want to ask about that when you talk to the on-call doctor. I'm sure all is well, pregnancy does funky things to your body.  I hope you feel better soon.

    I'd definitely check with the on-call doc, just to be on the safe side.  I'm sure it's normal from what you describe.  Keep us posted!

    This happened to me I think at like 11 weeks. I FREAKED, but everything was fine! I think that the straining can sometimes cause some irritation and some old blood to be forced out. It actually happened to me once last week but it was so tiny I didn't even get worried. I'd say it's nothing.
