Prayers/positive thoughts needed...

You guys always seem to send the best vibes, so I wanted to ask you to please keep my niece and her family in your thoughts:

I just spoke with my ex-sis-in-law - they are in town and we were supposed to get together tomorrow. It turns out that while they were in Orlando this week one of my nieces got sick, so they went to urgent care and were told she had strep ? didn?t do bloodwork or anything and gave her antibiotics.

She called me now to tell me that they are at Jackson Memorial because she wasn?t getting any better, didn?t want to eat, etc. They?ve run some blood work and have told her that Kalia either has an infection of some sort or leukemia. They are doing a bone marrow test today. Could you guys just keep them in your thoughts and prayers? Thanks?

thanks, will do. She said that they should get the results of today's tests in a few days - I pray that they come back clear...

Oh wow two different extremes. I hope its some sort of infection that is easily treated. Poor thing. Please keep us update. I'll keep her in my prayers.

I am so sorry to hear that : ( I never realized how bad strep throat is until my son got it earlier this year. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family, xoxo
