Rec your playmat please!

What kind of playmat do you have for LO? I'm looking for something that will entertain DS while on his back or tummy, with toys and maybe lights and sounds too. Any suggestions?

I have the baby einstein one..Its great. DD loves the star that lights up and plays music.

We have a Baby Einstein one, but I wouldn't recommend it. It's not even the one we wanted, but a family member, who hasn't had a baby in at least 60 years, decided to use their own judgement and bought it for us. The things I don't like are that it doesn't have a tummy time pillow, which would be helpful for DS and the fabric the mat is made of is a nylon and kind of slippery. DS keeps trying to pull his knees up under himself, but keeps slipping. Plus, I think the toys are kind of boring. Look at Infantino or Tiny Love.

DS LOVES the Baby Einstein Baby Neptune mat. It has an attachment w/ lights & music that you can set to a motion sensor -- DS LOVES to kick the bars & change the music. He also loves all the toys (especially the octopus) and the bright colors on the mat. You can switch all the toys around a ton of different ways too.

We have the Baby Einstein ocean one, and Maddie loves it... there is a lights/sound machine that plays classical music (four songs, I think) and she stares, "runs" with her legs, and grabs the hanging toys. It's kind of expensive but worth it!
