I know I have bad ears (I current am on my 2nd set of tubes in 3 years) and dd#1 had them put in around 13 months but dd#2 just turned 6 months old.
I have no idea why this is stressing me out--she has had fluid on her one ear since birth and we have just watched it and it seemed like it was going away until april when we have had ear infections since then.
anyone do tubes this young?? Since I know they work etc I am not against tubes but more concerned with her age and going under etc.
I personally have tried chiropractic care for myself and has not worked and not sure how I feel about it for babies so thoughts on that??
Re: 3 ear infections in 2 months--WTF?
Tanya had recommended Dr. Swanson (chiro kids) and I spoke to them today and feel better. My pedi is in the "up to you camp". I figured since the ENT can't see us until the end of June that the chiro is worth a try since our insurance will cover it.
So, we are doing a 3rd type of antibiotic, chiro and then the ent at the end of June.
I know she will most likely need tubes eventually since she has had fluid on that one ear since birth and that is the reason that dd#1 had tubes was that her ears simply did not drain. I just feel that 6 months old is a little young to put under.....
