EOG testing funny from DH

So DH has had to administer the the EOG testing at his school for the past week or so (poor guy).  Yesterday they were re-testing students who had gotten 1's on the tests, which is the lowest score you can get.  They were doing the math (with calculator) section of the test.  He walked by one student and noticed that she was writing all over the test booklet, but it looked like she was writing words rather than working out math.  Beside a bunch of the problems, she had written "IDK."  Beside a bunch of other problems, she had written "WTF?"

LOL  DH and I were cracking up at what were the requirements for a math problem to get an "IDK" versus a "WTF?"  Maybe she went back and tried to re-work the IDKs later, but the WTFs she knew she had no chance.  Poor thing.

    That is just too funny!  I feel so sorry for her though, she must feel so defeated.

    The bad part of me thinks that is the funniest thing ever! What happened to just circling the number and coming back to it? Plus I live under a rock, kids at that age know what WTF means?! The good side of me thinks it is very sad that kids cannot do math even w/ a calculator!! Ugghhh...the things I get to look forward to.

    Haha, funny! And sad.

     

    But honestly, in recalling the math on the GRE, if it had been a paper & pencil scenario, I KNOW I would have wrtten some of that. Unfortch it was computer based and I couldn't be a smart allic.
