Is it possible to get +OPK and O in the same day?

I am scared that I missed my chance to get preggo this cycle.  I had a temp rise this morning and today was my first day with +OPK.   Is it possible to get a positive OPK and ovulate in the same day?  If so, and I BD this afternoon will I have already missed my chance to fertilize the egg?

    Yes, it is. I think you can O any time from 12-36 hours.

    Did you test yesterday at all?  Was it close to being positive yesterday? What time did you take the test today?  After a +OPK you can O anywhere from 12-36 or even in some I've heard 48 hours later...So depending on when you caught your surge, then maybe it's possible, yes, to get a +OPK and O the same day...  For example, if you got a +OPK at 6:00 am I guess you could ovulate late that night and that count as the same day you know?

    I think once you actually O (the egg is released) you have 12 -24 hours to catch it.  So get busy asap!

    Yes I have O'd on the same day I got a positive OPK in the past. Also I have gotten a positive OPK after O'ing. It is possible you already ovulated, looking at your chart. Have sex today anyway though, just in case.
