I think I know how to make the bottom half, but how do I make the canopy part? It looks like it's open (how does it not fall apart)? I'm not the very creative type so any ideas how this is made?
Hi I saw one yesterday and it actually had a mini bag, which looked like a small bottle carrying case.....you could also try a formulas carrying bowl for the diapers at the top......or you could also fill it in with the actual diapers....I am not sure how the pic above is standing w/out any support. I hope this helps.....
I have made a few diaper cakes...not a bassinet diaper cake...from looking at the picture...I think I would make the two pieces of the bassinet separate and then try to get the top part of the bassinet to sit on the base and maybe use kabob sticks or something of that nature to help hold it in place!! You could even use double sided tape...or safety pins??!! GL!!
When I have done this in the past I have woven the diapers which form the top of the bassinet together with a ribbon matching the color theme. If you do it tight enough then the diapers will curve and stay put-it comes out really cute with the ribbon.
Re: How do I make a bassinet diaper cake-creative people come in pls!
