Re: **December Snowflakes Friday Check-In**
Hi. Actually my due date is December 18th and my next appointment (12 w appointment is 6/9) ~MrsAmanda~ seems we are on the same schedule.
)
QOTD: Yeah, I like where I live. I am in a suburb of a large city which is only a 20 min drive away to downtown. I have access to NHL games, Minor League baseball, a zoo nearby among countless plazas, stores and malls. Funny thing too is if you drive 20 min. away from downtown, you are in the middle of corn fields and farm land. It is a nice balance. I like it!
Good morning! Things are going great for me and we are going to start announcing the pregnancy to friends and extended family this weekend!
QOTD: We are actually moving back to my hometown in a month and we are soo excited! We rented out our house for three years and will be moving back to it- a great location close to family, friends, shopping, and dining!
I hear ya with the gloomy weather!
This week was a great one though! My 12 week appt went great. The baby is measuring 3 days ahead and things look great so far. Picture in my siggy! I have my next appt at 16 weeks (so long to wait) June 24th for more bloodwork and an OB appt. We also scheduled our Big U/S for 7/8!!! Yay!
QOTD: Do you like where you live-ie:, location, neighborhood, proximity to stores, etc., weather? Why or why not?
I love Boston and New England so I would never leave the area. I love the seasons but would rather if Summer and Spring were longer than Fall and Winter. We just moved to a great neighborhood so we really like where we are now!
My next appt is 6/15 and my NT scan is scheduled for 6/26- I can't wait to see the baby again
I love where we live (right outside of Philly)- we just moved last August- and we are right in between a middle school and high school, so there are lots of kids around
Good Morning! ?
You don't need to add this to the list but I would appreciate everyone's positive vibes for next Friday...We have our NT scan/bloodwork & u/s that day. ?
Do you like where you live-ie:, location, neighborhood, proximity to stores, etc., weather? Why or why not?
?
Yes and no...We live in a tiny little hick town and I LOVE how safe it is and how kid friendly it is. ?I also love how quiet it is-something we did NOT Have at our last place. ?As for Proximity to stores, its a minimum 15 minutes to the closest grocery which is a pain in the rear-its 45 minutes from all of our family which sucks even more. ?The weather is ok...I would rather be down south where its 85 and sunny more often.
All in all, its not a bad place to live, not perfect but what really is??
?
My weird pelvic feelings are mysteriously gone today...my body is playing with me I think! I can't believe it's only been 1.5 weeks since we heard our baby's HB; it feels like so long ago and June 15th seems like ages to go! Ah the suspense!
I have mixed feelings about where we live. LOVE LOVE LOVE New England, especially NH. I like the weather (I agree with SPC2007 that spring and summer should be longer, though I hate the humidity!) I love the privacy we have. I HATE our neighborhood. I wish real estate agents knew more about the people living in the neighborhood haha We live on a sharp, blind corner so fast and unsafe drivers inevitably end up in our yard in the winter. We're fighting the town to have a stop sign put in. And our neighbors are just rude. This isn't our forever home, though, so I can deal with it for another 10'ish years.
Have a great weekend everyone!?
I'm doing well... my appointment yesterday went great! I heard the hb, which was in the 160s-170s and was amazed my midwife was able to find it so quickly and easily. That was definitely a relief and finally made me to start to feel like I might actually have a baby! I just wish DH could have come with me to hear it, but hopefully he'll make it to the next appointment, 6/25
QOTD: I'm really happy with where I live right now and don't want to move! Colorado Springs is beautiful and the weather is great. We're only an hour away from my parents and siblings in Denver, I have great friends here and I love my house! I also love my midwife! Unfortunately we'll be moving to Monterey, CA in September. I hear it's beautiful there too, but we don't know anyone there and it will definitely be hard to leave here when I'm 24w pregnant! Oh well, I guess when you're married to the military, moving is the name of the game.
Hi, I would love to be added please
I am due Dec 2 and I have my next appt on June 2 (@ 14w)
Right now I like where we live, it's been quite warm lately and the forecast looks great for the next week. We live in a subdivision in a small small city and I can walk to downtown in 35 minutes. It's a great little place but our next house will have more property.
checking in late - the glucose test and NT scan took a lot longer than I expected - gotta love waiting on doctors! but all went well and baby looks great, nothing to worry about based on that alone - bloodwork will take about 5 days though.
I love where we live. Lexington is such a nice city and a great place to raise kids. I adore being in the heart of horse country and I'm so glad my child will grow up with that. Our subdivision is very nice and quiet and we've done so much to our house to make it fabulous, and they just opened a brand new grade school in the back of the neighborhood so I can walk our child to school. I love 4 seasons and we're close to Knoxville, Nashville, Cincinnati and Louisville so we have lots of options if we want to visit a bigger city.
