Ladies using a dresser as a changing table

Where are you going to keep all your supplies? I kept thinking I needed to get some sort of shelf system next to the dresser but then I started thinking I could probably just use the top drawer and get some stuff from the container store to keep it all organized.

Yeah I keep thinking I'm using the top drawers too for all the diapers, wipes, creams too. Or my other option is to get a big basket and put it at one end! I think I will end up going with the big basket option because I think I'll want things right there instead of having to deal with opening a draw while I have a squirmy kid to change too.

I've definitely thought about the shelf thing, and might do it. But my dresser fortunately has one cabinet section (vs. drawers), so I anticipate putting some stuff there, as well.

I'm also thinking I will probably use the top drawer. If that doesn't work, I might have DH mount a basic shelf on the wall next to the dresser.

i put a big basket on the end of the dresser to hold everything, the drawers are all full of clothes!!!

Top drawer or a basket - most likely the drawer though - they won't have THAT many clothes.

I've just used the side of DD's dresser for the box of wipes/a few diapers, and a little part of the top drawer for cream and the remaining diapers/wipes. It has worked out great, and I LOVE not having a seperate changing table.

another ditto. we are CD'ing so all the dipes and covers will be in the top drawer, and the wipes and creams and things will be in basket on top of the dresser.?

We have a really long dresser so I I have a little basket with diaper cream, lotion, etc, sitting on top. Then with a thing of wipes on top as well. I have a large basket I keep the diapers in on the floor.

We are putting a corner cabinet next to the dresser - maybe a basket on one of these shelves?

With DS we used one of those canvas storage containers and just put it on top of the dresser next to the changing pad. I plan to do the same with the new baby.

I have a little stackable thats the same height as the dresser will be (I've measured, LOL) and I plan on using that for supplies, with a wicker basket on top with my creams, etc.

We're planning on using this pocket organizer that will hang over the closet door since the changing table/dresser will be in arms reach of the closet door.

The dresser and pad and everything are not set up yet, but the dresser is kind of long so my plan is to have everything right there on top. We'll see if the plan works...

For DD we just used a dresser and had a basket on top for diapers and cream. There are smaller drawers on both sides of the dresser, and we put extra things in there, like lotion, etc. It's worked out fine and saved us a lot of money since we bought the dresser at an antique store and refinished it ourselves. We will be doing the same thing for the next baby and have already found a beautiful antique dresser that's a similar style to the crib we ordered.

I'm doing this too. I was going to put everything on a floating shelf above the dresser, but decided on a fancy mirror instead because I don't like clutter. We'll see how that plan works out after a few weeks though!!

We have a plastic set of drawers that we will have next to the dresser. It will house the diapers, wipes, extra shampoos and stuff like that.

I haven't gotten the dresser yet, so it will depend on how big it is, but I was thinking I would get a basket to put all that in, or put it in the top drawer.

I do not have my furniture picked out but my sister uses a dresser as a changing table. ?She has a basket on top of the dresser next to the changing pad with all the essentials. ?She keeps diapers in the top drawer. ?

I have a small basket with a few things (diapers, wipes, cream) on the dresser next to the changing pad. The dresser/changing table is next too the door, so we also have a Koala back of the door canvas organizer.
