On Wednesday, I had my 14 week appt. Everything looked good, my NP found the heartbeat right away with the doppler, the hb was 142. I didn't gain any weight over the past 5 weeks (which I was pleased about, I'm a bigger lady, so I want to save any weight I am going to gain for this tri and the next). I told her about my ocular migraines, and she told me to get an appt with a neuologist. Bah.
After the dr. appt, we walked through two houses for a second time. We then decided to make an offer on one of them. Signed a billion pieces of paper and then waited.
Thursday, got my head checked out. Neurologist couldn't find anything wrong with me and that basically said my raging hormones were the cause. Sleep more, drink more water, nothing major. YAY.
Before my morning appt with the dr. though, we got news on the house. WE GOT IT! They didn't counter offer or anything. So now we're waiting for the inspector to roll though. Wish us luck!
After the head dr. appt, I finally decided to tell work about the baby that I am brewing. Everyone was super excited, which made me feel good! I was sorta nervous about the reaction I was going to get.
I haven't really had the time to be excited about everything that has happened this week. Maybe this weekend it will finally hit me that there's a pretty darn good chance that we'll be homeowners.
Thanks for listening
