I took it but it made me really dizzy and constipated. I only felt ok taking it at the end of the day when I had DH with me to watch Faith. The constipation made me feel crampy all the time which, of course, made me freak out that I was m/cing again. I opted to suffer most often.?

Yes, this is a major concern for me. Especially with my past history but I can't take the sickness anymore, plus I have lost 8 pds. I can't function, yet alone take care of a 14 month old energizer bunny.
Okay, i'm from the Central PA board but I happened to see this post! I have been taken zofran since I was about 8 weeks pregnant with this pregnancy, and now I'm 25 weeks. ?Without it, I throw up. ?I took it the entire time of my first pregnnacy and it was fine. ?I did have some constipation but that was about it, but nothing to write home about. ?Just ate some activia and that seemed to counteract the effects of that. ?Without Zofran, I do not think I could be pregnant. ?
I took Zofran every day for my entire pregnancy with number 2, sometimes twice a day. I did have constipation, but it was worth it to not be throwing up constantly.
Took it through most of my pregnancy and it made me sleepy, tired, constipated, but I wasn't puking! I did loose about 30 lbs, but it was ok because I was heavy to begin with. Good luck and congratulations!!
I've taken it for both pregnancy and cancer and I think it's incredible stuff. ?To combat the constipation I highly recommend Miralax. ?You can get it over the counter and if you like it ask your doc for a prescription(way cheaper to have the RX). ?It's totally safe during pregnancy because it's not a laxative so no cramping, it works by getting more water into your bowels and softening your stool.
Side effects...headache and constipation (worse than just normal pregnancy constipation). I think it might also contribute to appetite suppression for me.
I take it 3 times a day at the highest dose per doctor's instructions...I noticed others take it 1-2 times and I don't know what dose...but I thought I would throw that in there to help explain why I might be getting the side effects I get.
