Target Baby Registry

I just registered at Target and got the gift type registry bag that they give you. I didn't think to ask or look in the bag but when I got home I noticed that there were not any registry cards in it. I also registered at BRU and I they gave me registry cards there. Does Target not give any out? Just wanted to see if anyone else has gotten any. Thanks.

Yes, I got them in my gift bag, but I just listed on the invite where we were registered. I think if you call cust svc, they can mail you some.

they handed me the registry cards separately from the gift bag which I thought was strange. They're round and come in groups of 20 I think. You can always grab some next time you're there...

(I actually decided to print the info right on my invites because I heard nightmares about people throwing them out with the envelopes!)

I didn't get any either. But I probably wouldn't use them anyhow.

A side note: if you already registered, keep your eye open for a coupon in the mail. I got one a few weeks ago for a free $20 gift card for creating a registry at Target. All I had to do was print out my registry in the store and take it to the guest services counter and they gave me my gift card Smile

Ok, well I guess I'm not the only one that didn't get them! Now that I think about it though maybe I'll just write on the invites where I'm registered just in case people throw out the cards. Thanks for the tip about the coupon too!

I didn't register at Target - but when I registered at BRU they told me they were out of cards for the last 5 weeks. My MIL or Mother are going to have to go to their BRU and get a stack of them for my shower. I otld them that they had no more.

Also - I registered at JCP online because they have the bedding that I liked and they sent me cards in the mail - so that was nice.

I didn't know Target sends a coupon for a GC - I may have to register there to sign up and get it. Won't really use it as they don't have most of what I want.?

Did you ladies get the book in your bags that guides you as to what you should register for? If so the little cards are in the book.....they are actually pages in the book that you separate yourselves.......at least that how mine was. The bonus is in a couple weeks you should receive a card for a $20 gift card for registering that will come to you in the mail.

No bag of goodies for me either. And...I had so many gifts that were doubled or tripled because 4 different Targets didn't take stuff off the registry once they were purchased. No one else had problems at Kohl's or Babies R Us.

I got the gift bag too with no registry cards but mine are printed on the invitations, people just toss those to the side anyway

I was wondering what are some of the things that you guys registered for at Target. I did a walk through yesterday and there isn't anything there I really think is worth registering for. Target is one of my favorite stores too. I kinda think you can get everything you need from BRU or BBB. I get that you can probably get diapers and wipes cheaper there, but i'm hooked up with diapers through one of the hospital systems here. Just curious cuz I like the idea but just not into registering there for some reason.
