What activities would you recommend?

We are thinking about coming to Chicago in June.  DS will be 16 months, what activities/sightseeing would you recommend?  the only thing I can think of is Shedd aquarium...but I'm sure there is much much more to do!  We are driving and will stay around 4 days.  Also do you know of a reasonably priced hotel?  TIA!

    children's museum at navy pier...navy pier has everything but it also has the museum that you and your ds will enjoy. if you're looking to stay downtown the cheapest hotel around it The Avenue..it's right off Michigan ave and is the least expensive around.

    I'd go to Lincoln Park Zoo - it's free and lots of space to run around. ?Also,?Millennium?Park is great too! ?If it's hot he can run around in the face fountain and lots or space to move about. ?Also, look on metromix.com to see what street festivals are going on during that time...there is always one every weekend during the summer! ?
