Looks to be ectopic
The 4th beta didnt double. Im going in tomorrow for an ultrasound to confirm and get a shot of whatever they give u to dissolve the embryo. Im sure my ivf is all off track now. Life really sucks right nwo.

and in regards to your IVF being off track- do NOT let them tell you that you can't do IVF for 3-6 months after a Methotrexate shot and that's final- if you do your research & you are comfortable with the info then you can get pregnant before then.
my RE said 3 months minimum after my ectopic- i met with a Genetics Counselor MD who told me that the shot is out of your system within DAYS- not weeks or months- and that the risks are so very minimum.

I've been more or less where you are. You'll get methotrexate--probably 2 shots at once. My SEs were pretty nonexistent, but make sure they give you guidelines on what you can/can't do in the short term (I remember something about no folic acid and no alcohol).

yes- i waited till my beta was 0 (it only took about 2 weeks for my #'s to go down & for me to get my period & my number were well over 700+) and then i waited 2 cycles- i needed to get another cycle in before the end of the year so i saw a Genetics Counselor MD who told me i could have started another cycle right after my period.
also- i'm with Dr.L- i would get another beta before the shot...unless they can "see" that there is something in your tube- but it's hard when it's so early. i really pray it's not ectopic & that you have a nice high # jump..

Ditto this. I would definitely want to see another beta and see how it jumps (or doesn't). I am so sorry you're going through this. :-(

Severe MFI - on to IVF w/ ICSI

IVF#3: BFP! - 1/24: ET - 5d - 2 blasts - 2/02: Beta #1: 16.2 ...... 2/04: Beta #2: 35 ...... 2/09: Beta #3: 401.5 - I'm pregnant! - 2/13: u/s #1 - baby boy, due 10/12, born 10/16! ...... 8 lbs 0 oz, 22 inches!
It really just depends on when AF shows up for you. I had the MTX shot on 4/16, and I'm STILL waiting for it (m/c started 3/25). Should be next week, so I can schedule my HSG, but it seems like it's been FOREVER!
Talking with my doc, though, they said I'm set to keep trying after the HSG, which would be the first cycle post m/c.
The shot part is what I thought sucked - two nurses shot me in the ass at the same time. But it didn't' make me bleed a ton, which I was afraid it would.
