was just asked "how far along" i am... :(
this idiot checkout girl at macys asked me. i was standing there with a double stroller with two obviously newborn twins. my mother was checking out and the girl called over "how far along are you?" and i said "um. i just had twins." and she said, pointing to my disgustingly still distended belly, "so this isn't another one on the way?" and i said "wow. no. this is residual." i had no idea what to say... unbelievable. and like i didn't already feel like crap about my weight and my belly.
people suck.

What a moron. ?How old was she? ?Must have been young and/or not have any experience with kids and how they come into the world. ?
Don't worry about it. ?Your body did a great job for those twins and helped make them healthy and it isn't meant to bounce back completely in two months. ??

I feel the same way - people suck!!!! I never felt that great about my body and now I feel like I actually hate it. It's so dosfigured and just not anything like what is used to be. I'm so sorry you dealth with an idiot today - though idiot seems like a nice term. You're beautiful and you know it!!!

OH. MY. GOD. I am in SUCH a foul mood today I want to drive to your Macy's and beat her. I am SO SORRY - if it makes you feel any better - a little neighbor girl asked me if I was pregnant again ... about 2 months ago so I had a four month old singleton at the time (little biitch. hahaaa!) Eff that awful check out person, she seriously must have mental issues, no one A) asks that and
asks if you're SURE after you announce you JUST HAD TWINS.

We have earned our post pregnancy bellies! I still hope to get rid of mine sometime soon, but in the meantime I just let it remind me of my beautiful girls!
She should of said "sorry" and walked away ashamed of herself, not kept asking you to make sure you knew you still had a little belly.
I had a woman say "wow, you're brave to be pregnant again so soon after having them." I wanted to tell her where to go but I just frowned and walked away. What's wrong with people??
That's....just.....awful! People are seriously stoooooopid!
