Maternity photography trade

I have a proposition.  I just bought a fancy new camera; not super fancy, but fancy for me.  A low end D-SLR (Nikon D60).  I can't now justify the expense of having maternity photos taken.  I have been a hobbyist photographer for a while, so I thought about taking them myself, but that sounds like a lot of running back and forth after setting the timer.  And I'd like DH to be in some of the pictures, so having him take them isn't really an option. 

So here's my proposition.  Would anyone be willing to take a day and take photos of each other?  I do your maternity photos, you do mine.  I'm not expecting anything professional, just some nice shots.  I live in St. Paul.  Perhaps this will sound weird, I'm just a cheapskate looking for a cheap alternative to studio shots.  Please either respond here or PM me if you're interested.

    I can help you out.  I own a D50 and D80 so I am pretty familiar with the Nikon brand.  I do a fair amount of hobby photography myself (my dogs tend to be my main subject).  I could just take the photos for you with your camera if you'd like.  I am still several weeks out from needing photos myself too.

    Aw, I wish I'd seen a post like this while I was still pg! I would have loved to do a swap. I didn't get pics taken for the same reason, just too expensive, and being a novice photographer myself (although I am a Canon owner) it is so tough to justify spending the money.
