Need OBGYN!!!

Hi Ladies,

We recently moved to Doylestown and today found out I'm pregnant!! Last week I setup my annual w/ Doylestown Women's Health, but we've decided we want to deliver at Abington. Does anyone have a rec for someone affiliated w/ Abington (near Doylestown)?  Thanks so much, I look forward to getting to know you!!!

Re: Need OBGYN!!!

  • sorry, no recommendations.  Just wanted to say Congrats!! Happy and healthy 9 months!
  • Congratulations!!  It's so exciting--happy and healthy nine months to you :o)

Sorry but I don't have a Doylestown recommendation--I go to Abington Ob/Gyn Associates (Dr. Fonslick, Dr. Sih, Dr. Gallella, etc) and they have a few offices and one might be close to you--sorry I'm no help with the area but the practice is incredible and I cannot say enough about how great each of the doctors, staff and Abington hospital was when we were pregnant and delivering and post-partum care.  If you go on Abington Hospital's website you can search for an Abington doctor in the Doylestown area--that's how I found my group.  Good luck and congrats again!

  • I am admittedly biased, as I did NOT like Abington.... but you can go to their website and see affiliated doctors.

  • I go to them and I would say its ok.  All the doctors seem nice enough, they are just always in such a rush.
  • Yeah I am not getting a great vibe from them either. I think I'm going to try the office PP mentioned.

Thanks so much ladies! Anyone have experience with Abington Primary Women's Healthcare Group?

I go to them.  No complaints so far.  My visits are usually 10 minutes but at this stage thats normal.  I would recommend them and delivering at Abington.

i go to Abington Primary and really like them. they are a huge practice though, some people don't like that, but it doesn't bother me.  i've been going there for years and never had a problem.  some of the doctor's are better then others.  i delivered DD at abington and will deliver this baby there too.  i also had a miscarriage between pregnancies and they handle that great and were very support when i did get pregnant again with understanding that i was very nervous, so they had me come in for bloodwork and 2 early u/s to help ease my mind.

I don't have any personal experience as I delivered at Holy Redeemer. But, my reproductive endo recommended Allison Keen, Joe Murphy, and Mary Greybush at Abington. He refers to them specifically.
  • I go to Abington OBGYN associates, and like them so far. (someone else mentioned them already) I have been seeing Dr. Roberts for a couple years as my Gyn, and she's really great. Their offices are in Horsham, Abington (at the hospital) and Warrington. The Warrington location is off of Easton road I believe very local to you.?

Yep I am booked at the Warrington office on 5/13. I was really happy they scheduled me so quickly and I will get to see a Dr, not LPN. Fingers crossed they work out, thanks so much for the rec ladies!

  • I have been going to Abington Primary OBGYN for gyn since I was a teenager.  Everyone in my family goes there too.  Great practice.  I am now seeing them for my first pregnancy and it has been great.  They have offices in Willow Grove, Newtown, Flourtown and Abington Hospital.  Highly recommended!
